ABOUT
The Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Las Vegas territory encompases the State of Nevada. We provide Consular services for Polish citizens as well as business, education and cultural outreach within our Consular district since 2009. The Consulate is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 to 16:30, however scheduling an appointment is required.

HONORARY CONSUL
Consul John Petkus, a Michigan native moved to Nevada in 1994 and opened the Polish Consulate in 2009. Of Polish heritage, Consul received his Polish citizenship in 2017. Recipient of the Knights Cross of Merit for service to the Republic of Poland by the Polish President and the Bene Merito Award (“Za Działalność Wzmacniającą Pozycję Polski na Arenie Międzynarodowej”) by the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Specializing in business, educational and research cooperation, Consul Petkus was instrumental in encouraging President Andrzej Duda to visit the State of Nevada in 2019.
Julita Miszalska-Hunt
SPECIAL PROJECTS DIRECTOR/ LANGUAGE EXPERT
Native of Łódź, Poland, Julita "Julieta" Miszalska-Hunt moved to the US to pursue her education. Received B.A. in Communications and Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Madonna University, Michigan. Interpreter for the Eighth Judicial District Court Interpreter's Office since 2015. DMV-certified translator and interpreter. On the Consulate General of RP List of Translators for the Los Angeles Consular Region. Nevada Notary Public.
